The Epistle of Jude is a short letter that both warns and encourages. Jude writes to believers and warns them about the presence of the ungodly among them. Some are teaching false doctrines and are determined to lead them astray.

Jude asks them to have faith because they are grounded in God’s Truth, and they must not let themselves be swayed by the words of those who slander them and seek to divide them.

It recalls Jesus' own words of encouragement to the disciples (Jude 1:17). So we must constantly remember the Lord's words and recommendations to remain faithful to Him.

He also encourages them to remain faithful to the Gospel they have received and believe in, and to continue praying in the Holy Spirit. Studying the Scriptures, praying in the Spirit, living in love, and remaining faithful to God are the essential elements of a mature Christian life.

That is why Jude 1:21 tells us to remain in God’s love until the day Jesus returns to make all things new. God’s love is not a mental image, but a life shared with others in which we participate by bringing the reign, the goodness, and the values of the kingdom into it.

Let us study and seek to understand the Scriptures so that our faith may be strengthened in divine truths. Likewise, let us pray regularly and learn to listen to God’s voice. The more we do this, the more we will be immersed in His great love.

Take a few moments to think about how you can improve your intimacy and prayer life.

What steps can you take to recommit yourself to a vibrant relationship with God?

Pasteur Clémentine

[24

post-2546","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-enseignements-biblique
