Dieu appela un jour Abram et lui dit : quitte chez ton pays, vas dans celui que moi-m\u00eame je t’indiquerai. Abram crut, ob\u00e9it \u00e0 la Parole et partit et devint le p\u00e8re de la grande nation spirituelle de ceux qui ont la foi. Dieu changea son nom en Abraham et le b\u00e9nit. Abraham eut deux fils Isma\u00ebl l’anc\u00eatre des musulmans et Isaac l’anc\u00eatre des h\u00e9breux donc du peuple Isra\u00ebl. Mais la promesse que Dieu fit \u00e0 Abraham \u00e9tait li\u00e9e \u00e0 Isaac, p\u00e8re d’Isra\u00ebl (Jacob).<\/p>\n

Dieu \u00e0 travers son peuple va ouvrir une br\u00e8che pour cr\u00e9er l’\u00c9glise afin que celle-ci soit apte \u00e0 accomplir la mission. C’est cette mission que J\u00e9sus r\u00e9v\u00e9la \u00e0 ses disciples en ces termes : \u00ab Allez, faites de toutes les nations des disciples, les baptisant au nom du P\u00e8re, du Fils et du Saint Esprit, … \u00bb (Matthieu 28 : 19) Les chr\u00e9tiens sont par la foi en Christ les disciples. \u00c0 partir de l\u00e0, tout Chr\u00e9tien a la responsabilit\u00e9 d’accomplir la mission \u00e0 l’instar d’Isra\u00ebl, et b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie du m\u00eame niveau de b\u00e9n\u00e9dictions. Les chr\u00e9tiens sont h\u00e9ritiers avec Christ des biens du Royaume des cieux.
