{"id":1529,"date":"2022-09-18T17:49:32","date_gmt":"2022-09-18T15:49:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/paroledevie.tv\/?p=1529"},"modified":"2022-09-18T17:54:31","modified_gmt":"2022-09-18T15:54:31","slug":"the-characteristics-of-gods-children","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paroledevie.tv\/en\/the-characteristics-of-gods-children\/","title":{"rendered":"The characteristics of God's children"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Characteristics of God's Children: (1 John 3:1\u201324)<\/p>\n<p>He practices righteousness: \u00abIf you know that he is righteous, acknowledge that everyone who practices righteousness has been born of him.\u00bb (1 John 2:29)<\/p>\n<p>He holds fast to the hope of his future incorruptible nature: \u00abBeloved, we are now children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed; but we know that when it is revealed, we will be like him, because we will see him as he is. \u00bb (1 John 3:2)<\/p>\n<p>He does not sin: \u00abWhoever is born of God does not sin, because God\u2019s seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.\u00bb (1 John 3:9)<\/p>\n<p>He is compassionate: \u00abDear children, let us not love with words or speech alone, but with actions and in truth.\u00bb (1 John 3:18)<\/p>\n<p>He believes in Jesus Christ and loves his neighbor as himself: \u00abAnd this is his commandment: that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us.\u00bb (1 John 3:23)<\/p>\nHe keeps God\u2019s Word, which he meditates on every day: \u00abWhoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him\u00bb (1 John 3:24).<br \/>\nHe has the Holy Spirit, and God listens to him: \u00abHe abides in us through the Spirit he has given us.\u00bb (1 John 3:24)<br \/>\nHe has the assurance of eternal life and abides in the truth in all things.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just as he is!
