WORK: THE UNIVERSAL PRINCIPLE OF PROSPERITY<\/p>\n

\"The plowman must labor (toil) before he gathers fruit\" (2 Timothy 2:6).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Work is any physical or intellectual effort made by a person to provide for themselves and their family. The famous writer Voltaire said, \u00abWork keeps three great evils at bay: vice, boredom, and want.\u00bb God has never sanctified laziness. When He placed our first parents in the Garden of Eden, He asked them to \u00bbtill and keep the garden.\u201d God did not want man to be idle.<\/p>\n

God has never sanctioned laziness. In 2 Timothy 2:6, it is written that a farmer must work before he can reap a harvest. You must work hard and diligently, and God will make you prosper.<\/p>\n

That doesn't mean you'll never face trials or difficult times, but God will always be with you and will give you the strength to overcome them. He will also bless you for your efforts. If you trust in God and work hard, you will prosper.<\/p>\nTo become prosperous, you must work. That is why the apostle Paul urges his son Timothy to resist laziness. Here are four enemies of work:
\n1. Laziness (the desire to do nothing, manifested by a lack of willpower)
\n2. Procrastination (putting off until tomorrow what you should do today)
\n3. Non-achievement (not reaching the end of one's efforts).\n
