N’aimez point le monde, ni les choses qui sont dans le monde. Si quelqu’un aime le monde, l’amour du P\u00e8re n’est point en lui.<\/p>\n
Car tout ce qui est dans ce monde, la convoitise de la chair, la convoitise des yeux, l’orgueil de la vie, ne vient pas du P\u00e8re, mais du monde. Et ce monde dispara\u00eet avec tout ce que les gens d\u00e9sirent. Mais celui qui fait la volont\u00e9 de Dieu demeure \u00e9ternellement. (1 Jean 2 : 15-17)<\/p>\n
En d’autres termes, si notre attention se porte sur les choses de ce monde, nous ne vivons pas selon la volont\u00e9 de Dieu et ne sommes pas vraiment connect\u00e9s \u00e0 Lui.<\/p>\n
Ce verset ne signifie pas que nous devons nous isoler du monde ou cesser de nous pr\u00e9occuper des autres. Il s’agit plut\u00f4t d’un rappel que notre loyaut\u00e9 premi\u00e8re doit \u00eatre envers Dieu et son royaume, et non envers les choses terrestres.<\/strong><\/p>\n Lorsque nous gardons notre attention sur Dieu, nos priorit\u00e9s s’alignent sur les siennes et nous pouvons avoir un impact plus efficace sur le monde pour sa gloire.<\/p>\n The world is temporary. It's full of things that will rust, rot and decay. But the eternal things of God will never pass away. His love, mercy and grace are eternal.<\/p>\n When we love the things of this world more than the things of God, we are not in harmony with Him. We are not living according to God's will.<\/p>\n Mais ceux qui font la volont\u00e9 de Dieu demeurent \u00e0 jamais. Ils ont la vie \u00e9ternelle. Leur amour grandit de plus en plus \u00e0 mesure qu’ils gardent ses commandements.
