8 Praise the Lord; call upon his name! Make known among the nations his mighty deeds! 9 Sing, sing in his honor! Tell of all his wonders! 10 Take pride in his holy name! Let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice! 11 Turn to the Lord and his help; seek his face continually!

12 Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he has spoken, 13 O descendants of Israel, his servant, O children of Jacob, his chosen ones!

14 The Lord is our God; His judgments are over all the earth. 15 Remember His covenant forever, His promises for a thousand generations, 16 The covenant He made with Abraham, and the oath He swore to Isaac; 17 He established it as a law for Jacob, as an everlasting covenant for Israel, 18 saying, “I will give you the land of Canaan as your inheritance.”.

19 At that time they were few in number, very few indeed, and strangers in the land; 20 and they went from one nation to another and from one kingdom to another people; 21 But he did not allow anyone to oppress them, and he punished kings on their behalf: 22 Do not touch my anointed ones, and do not harm my prophets!

23 Sing to the Lord, all you inhabitants of the earth! Proclaim his salvation day after day; 24 Tell of his glory among the nations, of his wonders among all peoples! (1 Chronicles 16:8–24)
